Nissan S/R/Z chassis diff/transmission ratio guide!

Back in the day there was countless accessible information, from endless forums and loads of technical information available through grumpy mods and ban-happy admins. With the fall of photobucket, dead links, forums being closed etc it can sometimes be a little more difficult to find this information.

Fortunately, after 10 years in this industry, I have a lot of information saved (with credit due to the respected authors).

Modifying the S/R chassis today has never been more complicated with so many variables for choosing a diff/driveshaft set up and finding the perfect ratio. If you’re in the market for a new diff and are unsure what to look for, we’ve got you covered! I’ll even throw in some bonus info of tailshaft lengths and gearbox ratios!

    What’s the easiest way for me to source a edm or adm s14 diff in the us? I need a 3.6 diff in my s13 bad!

  3. G37 Manual will have a 3.9 too, also is a American company who sell 4.08 for a z33 R200v diff

    I have an S13 that I race. It has the r200 diff housing. 5.14 gear is not enough. Will a bigger gear work in that housing and where can I find them? I think I need something in the 5.20s to 5.30s ratio range.

  5. This is Copy Pasted, and is incorrect.

    32 Spline Axles are found on the Z32 TT and Skyline and Q45 and R35 GTR and 370Z and G37 (Sedan). Not 31
