Nissan S/R/Z chassis diff/transmission ratio guide!

Back in the day there was countless accessible information, from endless forums and loads of technical information available through grumpy mods and ban-happy admins. With the fall of photobucket, dead links, forums being closed etc it can sometimes be a little more difficult to find this information.

Fortunately, after 10 years in this industry, I have a lot of information saved (with credit due to the respected authors).

Modifying the S/R chassis today has never been more complicated with so many variables for choosing a diff/driveshaft set up and finding the perfect ratio. If you’re in the market for a new diff and are unsure what to look for, we’ve got you covered! I’ll even throw in some bonus info of tailshaft lengths and gearbox ratios!
